Wanted to visit the resort in its dry weather? Travel in September, January, and then August are the months with the lowest chance of significant precipitation in Bretton Woods. (Note: “significant precipitation” is defined as 0.1 inches or more.) January has the lowest chance of rain or snow. However, it’s most likely to rain or snow in early to mid-December, averaging 4 days of significant precipitation the week of December 10th.
According to weather stations report, March, specifically in the early weeks of the month, has huge amounts of snow in the resort. The best time to ski (if at all) in Bretton Woods is often around February second week when fresh powder is deepest.
For decades, Bretton Woods has been part of many families’ winter holiday, as they always enjoy the slopes. There are all sorts of winter and summer activities that the resort offers.
